Welsh Language Standards

The Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 makes Welsh an official language in Wales. This means that Welsh must be treated no less favourably than English.

The compliance notice issued to the tribunal on 30 September 2016, sets out which standards apply to the tribunal. The latest version of the compliance notice is available below.

Arrangements for oversight

We will record how we are ensuring compliance with the standards in our ‘The Tribunal’s Compliance with the Welsh Language Standards’ document.

We will also produce an annual report in relation to each financial year.
