Local authorities and FEIs

We will notify the local authority or FEI when an appeal has been made against one of its decisions. We will also explain what it needs to do.

In the tribunal context, local authorities and FEIs are knows as respondents as they must respond to a case brought against them.

The guidance booklets and forms below are for officers of local authorities and FEIs who’re authorised by their organisations to respond to appeal applications.

If you would like booklets or forms sent to you by post, please contact us.
